It's regarding your human form. When you change. What would you consider the 'pros' and 'cons' to that state, as well as is it a form that must be maintained through constant focus, or more like a switch?
In my case, it's a switch as I have to trigger the transformation in order to take human form.
PROS: ability to pass as a human and therefore without comment, new senses such as taste or smell, ability to eat chocolate, use of hands.
CONS: bodily functions such as waste, lack of easy maneuverability or flight, no internet connection, slower brain.
NOT NECESSARILY EITHER: physical indicators of emotion. On one hand, it makes emotion more difficult to analyze and control, on the other the sensations can be a novelty.
Some may not be applicable in your case, like being able to use hands for instance, but hopefully this provides some helpful insight.
I have no desire to be human for my own "benefit" but I have come into several situations where the simulations I've run turn out more favorable, if I had been human for those situations. By refusing to change, I am intentionally making those solutions inaccessible, when they could greatly affect the outcome.
Does this sound like a reasonable conclusion to come to?
It's common for robots and AIs to be granted the ability to appear human by the Porter for whatever reason, but it becomes essentially a new tool in our arsenal. Therefore it's a reasonable conclusion to treat it as a tool.
It may be worth testing it out to see if it would be useful, in that case. Or even just to acquaint yourself to it; I found a human body to be difficult to adjust to the first few times I used that power.
